If you are intending to go elsewhere, either taking your existing no. with you or not, you shouldn't be cancelling with EE but instead get your PAC or STAC respectively from EE & give it to your new provider. Your EE contract will end when you are live on new network. Best to do this in last few days of your contract term so you have little or no overlap.

Good evening.

My contact is up on the 25th September and it can't come soon enough, finally get to leave the money grabbing **bleep**holes and go elsewhere. Now I know you need to give 30 days notice, so if I give my notice on the 25th August will I only have to pay my normal bill at the end or will they inevitably add more charges and bill me more. Technically I'll be leaving on the last day of my contract so I should only have to pay my normal monthly amount, but seeing as EE love to up bills drastically and love to over charge I'm guessing they're going to add some made up fee just to get more money out of me. Which I will not be paying, I've paid enough to their greed and I'm not being taken the **bleep** out of anymore.

No I haven't run up extra charges, I try not to give them anymore of my money. They take the **bleep** as it is so I don't like to give them anymore of my money. I just know what these big companies are like. They will find a way to get more money out of someone.

You can ask for your PAC anytime from 30 days before end of the min. term but best to give it to new provider just before end of term.

Its not the extra charges, it's the annual 14% pay increase and usage abroad which **bleep**es me off. I can get the same deal with Lebara for £10, £40 less than EE and with free usage abroad.

Text Crappy EE about leaving and they sent that I'd have to pay £79.94 excluding any outstanding Add to Plan payments and this would be added to my final bill. So they're saying I will pay £79.94 on top of my last monthly bill?

Contract ends 24/09/2024.

I worked it out as the following...

£31 roughly left from 24/07-24/08

£48.14 for 24/08-24/09

£12.18 additional usage

TOTAL: £91.32ish

But they're saying it'll be £79.94+£48.14+£12.18 = £140.26?!?!?!

A no. of your assumptions are incorrect:

You've already paid up to 23/08 in your last bill.

Anyway when you terminate early as you are now, the Early Termination Charge, which the quoted £79.94 is, is instead of all future monthly bills.

So you will end up paying £79.94 + £12.18 = £92.12 !

Cost of cancelling or upgrading early will be Monthly Fee (£48.14) x Months Remaining (1 month 22 days), pro-rata to the nearest whole day, of contract term - 4% = £48.14 x 1 22/30 x .96 = £80.10 About right!
