£14 a month 2GB data I'll be gone as soon as I can feeling ripped off for sure looking at what is currently around.

Paid more than my old contract just to get coverage for calls at home, after just a few months calls are as bad with EE as with my old provider of 20 years.

I would be gone tomorrow if it wasn't for the horrendous exit fees.

There are no exit fees on PAYG. You just cease using it.

No network guarantees 100% national indoor coverage, but EE does offer WiFi-calling to assist with indoor coverage issues.

What are the problems you're having with using your phone?

Hi. Sometimes the phone does not even ring, others it just drops the call
mid call. I understand my house is on the edge of town so may be at the
limit of coverage. I had WiFi calling on but it seemed worse with that
enabled. Trying a week or two without WiFi calling as it seems better
without it.
I'm a bit ticked off that my data also goes very rapidly with EE.
I used to get by on a gig and a bit a month and any left over data was
added to the follow month.
EE data goes so fast I'd need 5 gig if I was not turning data off every
time I'm near WiFi.
I don't game or watch films, I use a bit of navigation occasionally and
listen to 2-3 hours of music a week with occasional browsing and e mails.
I normally close all tabs, windows and programs too so I've no idea why I
had to buy extra data last month at an extortionate rate.
As I was out of the UK for 6 weeks in March April I used no data at all
and my old provider would have rolled it over but not EE.
I had the same data etc with virgin and always got a roll over at the end
of the month.
Cheers
Colin

WiFi-calling is designed to only kick-in when mobile coverage is deemed insufficient or unusable. Some Android phones have an option to set "mobile preferred" or "WiFi-preferred".

Otherwise try toggling flight mode on, and then enable WiFi manually - to force no mobile coverage and thus WiFi-preferred.

These steps may help ID whether WiFi coverage or mobile coverage is the underlying issue.
