I completely agree with you. I feel as though I have been scammed. Every month I have to pay £20 for data I hardly use because where I am at, the EE network isn’t strong enough and I just rely on my accommodation’s WIFI. I am a foreign student and it takes a toll on me having to pay this every single month. The care service I met initially when I got here newly, told me it was better to be on a contract. ALLL LIESSS! And I just feel I am wasting money honestly

@Ify8 So you hardly use data but still purchase a pack that has more data than you require and then complain that you have unused data. Why you are purchasing that pack when there are cheaper and packs on offer. ?

The pack you are purchasing is your choice so how can you are blaming EE for this ?

Because as I said, I am on contract. I wasn’t even aware of the smaller data bundles in the first place. By the time I had started this current plan, I asked if I could change it to a lesser bundle and I was told I would have to pay more to cancel and change ( i.e. cancel the previous one, which would cost me like about 100 and so quid).
How can I use the data if I’m not getting coverage?
The problem is with the initial person I met…. Because if I was given at least all the data options. I would have been able to pick out the most suitable. That’s why I feel scammed. I am new here, of course it’s going to take me a while to adjust. I just felt misguided.

@Ify8 : Don't think you've posted in the right place. This thread is about PAYG Data Rollover. You are on contract. There is no Data Rollover on contract.

I had no idea either there was no roll over on contract (but that makes perfect sense anyways). Ok… thanks for the clarification. I was literally just replying to the user who commented on feeling scammed because I shared the same sentiments. I just feel, I had little information about the data bundles and the fact I can hardly use my data at my place of accommodation because the coverage isn’t soo great!

@Ify8 No network will guarantee a signal indoors if that is your problem as the building can be blocking the signal hence WiFi calling. What’s the signal like outside can you use the device without issue ?

There is no issue outside just within my accommodation premises and also in my school. Asides that it works perfectly fine. Oh ok… I see. That’s probably the case here. But why such strict rules in changing the data bundles though? I understand it may not be EE’s fault, but at the same time I would have loved it, if I was given better options and been able to understand the bundle packages better. I feel like I am throwing away money.
