Move from EE to O2

Hi because of work related reasons, i'm going to move from EE to O2 .. my contract ended with EE but still got sim plan running and data allowance renews on 29th April.. do I need to get in contact with EE customer services to stop this plan or when i move my number over to O2 will it be stopped automatically . And then i just cancel direct debit via my bank account .. cheers

@neil1002 Moving your number will automatically cancel your contact. Do not stop any DD yet as you might get a refund plus if you have any out of allowance charges you’ll need to pay these.
