In-store purchases do have 14day cancellation options in the specific case of coverage issues.

I have just started a SIM only contract with EE yesterday, and the network is not existent in my house that is of no use to me at all, and my mobile does not allow Wi-Fi calling. Can I cancel the contract within 14 days by switching operators via using a PAC Code or do I have to cancel directly with EE? I did text PAC to 65075 but got a PAC code and information that I would owe £299.00 even though I am well within the cooling off period.

@ScottishMark no network will guarantee a signal indoors and if you’re in your calling off period this is only an applicable if you’ve got that online or via phone sales call. There is no calling off period with store sales. so if you got it online or via phone call, then you need to call customer services and tell them that you no longer want the contract. Requesting a PAC isn’t how you do this and will result in paying off the contract even in the cooling off period.
