      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have just been informed that I cannot make any changes to my 30 day rolling SIM contract, despite the contract length being stated as 1 month on my sign up email? I want to reduce my data and was under the impression that I could do this as and when due to the type of contract I signed up for. I have just been informed by customer services that I cannot make any changes for 6 months?! This is a shocking breach of contract, and one I was not informed of at sign up. Terrible EE, this is a joke, I haven't got what I signed up for. Any suggestions gratefully received.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks, that is what I thought, but he checked with his manager and that was the agreed response, but I definitely think it is worth trying to speak to someone else. I have sent a message on the chat options so will try that first, and failing that will ring again tomorrow, but it is really frustrating that I have to chase up their errors.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I suspect that asking the CS agent to put that advice in writing and/or note the account with confirmation, may provoke the correct response.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The screenshot you've sent is quite clear about the notice period being 1m.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I also have the same plan as you and only use a minimal amount of data so tried to change plan and was also told I have to wait six months.&amp;nbsp; I have always been able to change sim only plans on other networks.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4341957"&gt;@Glynn79coo&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Have you tried to do this via your online account? &amp;nbsp; I was told something similar about a sim only contract that was eligible for upgrade and was told by customer service it can only be for a higher monthly tariff so I did the upgrade via my online account to a cheaper sim only and it went through with no problems. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;The upgrade was way before the standard upgrade period and was being offered as an upgrade not an early upgrade. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I’ve done this twice now on sim only contracts. &amp;nbsp;Both of these came from full device to sim only and then upgraded again to a different sim only at a cheaper rate a few months later. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Try changing it via online account instead of customer services.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
