I have been offered an upgrade on mine and my husband’s contract with reduced monthly cost when it goes up in April will it revert to full price plus increase or offer price plus increase?

I would have thought that if you upgraded the new price has nowt to do with the price of the old contract.

Reduced from what? Your old contract or the normal (list) price of the new plan, i.e. a discounted rate?

@Shellie2004 EE don’t offer you a chance to upgrade to a lower tariff rate mid contract term. It would be best to call customers services about this first.

what was the number that text you ?

EE also wouldn’t send you a text that links to your account, this sounds like a scam.

EE do have to send end of contract notifications, so could be genuine.

Any discount will apply for the length agreed, could be 6 months, could be for the full contract, but the price will go up in April by CPI + 3.9%, so you may be better off waiting for April, or not. Call EE and see what they are offering and decide or look around and see what else is around and take their annual price rises into consideration too.

@Shellie2004 While o agree EE do send you notifications of end of contract I would be weary because it it contains a link to what might look like a EE website but just might not be. Personally I would log into your account and do the upgrade there or call customer services and see what they can offer. I just wouldn’t use a link in a text unless I was sure it was actually from EE.
