If you purchased your new phone SIM-free without an airtime plan, then you could put your existing SIM into it - https://store.ee.co.uk/brands/apple/iphone-15

If you're a brand-new SIM-only customer and had no previous contract with EE,there is a 6month lockout before you can upgrade to a phone-plan.

If you moved to SIM-only from a handset-plan, you can move back at any time. Anytime you do move back to a phone-plan with a new device, you would take a new plan.
