topic Moving number over to another EE account in Contracts & Billing

Hello, I currently have my own account with a lapsed sim contract so I’m paying monthly with no committed term. I’ve just bought an unlocked phone & need a new sim only contract.

My OH is also on EE and we’re thinking of consolidating accounts so instead of upgrading my own to a sim only, we’re thinking of adding a new sim to his account and cancelling mine. I’d like to keep my number in the process.. any tips/steps on how to achieve the above?

This will also have the effect of cancelling your old contract.

You should also be able to achieve the same by requesting a change in ownership whereby your OH takes over legal responsbility for the phone. You can treat a priceplan change as a separate transaction.

Details under "transfer to a friend, colleague or family member" on https://ee.co.uk/help/profile/manage/change-my-account-in-the-case-of-a-life-event
