Account Billing - Bill jumped from 53.50 to 61

Hi there everyone,

I haven't really checked my bills but now I see that my original contract which was a iPhone 14 Essentials 125GB at 77 quid a month with F&F discount, billed at 53.50, has jumped since March to 61ish and I don't understand why. Before I contact customer support, would you please help clarify if I am missing something here? And no, no extra charges that would explain this in the bill details.

I would suspect this is the annual inflation-linked price rise, which in 2023 was 14.4%

It's the annual CPI + 3.9% increase (14.4% this year) that you agreed in your contract that is applied each year from 31st Mar. - see MOBILE CPI PLUS PRICE CHANGES

So for you £53.50 + 14.4% =£61.20

Thank you both. Never knew this was something as it was my 1st year in UK. UK legislation for consumer protection is just a joke.
