I have just received 1st bill showing that I am being charged from when I made order. I assumed it would be from date that I first use SIM. Any thoughts?

Thanks for coming here.

This would be from when the SIM card is dispatched, and you'll get your first phone bill around seven days after you join EE.

Hi Leanne,

I don't understand why I should be charged for a period when I've not received, installed or used the SIM. Joining isn't the same as using. I will pay for use, but this is effectively a joining fee.

Hi @TPK22,

Your SIM is connected to the network and ready to use as soon as it arrives.

If you've been charges for a period before you received the SIM, please get in touch with Customer Care.
