Does it matter if you can't fit my name in the "account holder" box, it's only 16 characters and normally for DD you must get the name precise unlike SO, many thanks.

Welcome to the community.

It should be fine. Just do your best to get your name in there so your bank can confirm that it's you. Initials and surname should be OK.

I found I had to use the first 16 characters of the account name - even though this was just Christian names.
