Outstanding money owed

Hi all

Moorcroft debt recovery have contacted my wife stating that she owes EE some £102 from 2014 for an old contract (on an old number) at a previous address. She's baffled by this as she has been with EE (at our new address since 2015) for the past 4 years (only changing to 3 last month). She contacted EE and they've said that as it's an old number at an old address they can't look into the account and that she'll have to go into an EE store with some photo I.d for them to look into it, is this correct?

Did she have an EE or Orange account before moving to the new address?

Has she contacted the debt recovery company to see if they can offer any further details?

The burden of evidence is on them not you. Hold rye nerve and pay nothing. If they don’t have evidence they can go f them selves like the Russian warship🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
