Thanks, That is somewhat helpful. However would it not be better to provide an online form to report the loss/theft ?

Evidently it is harder to call if your phone is gone. And It is kind of rough to borrow someone's phone and wait the long queuing to report by phone.

This happened to me abroad 2 days ago. In the interim I still had my laptop and could have acted swiftly and order a SIM.

I've seen people in a similar situation use their laptop to call through VoIP services, such as Skype.
