topic Charged for Free Upgrade in Contracts & Billing

Hello,

I Upgraded my contract in february and have an email with the contract terms stating the monthly plan cost, the add ons, insurance cost etc. In this email it states that the uprgade has no cost. In my Bill for march I have a charge of over £220 for an upgrade fee.

As far as I am aware from the email I have received when I entered the contract there should be no cost for the upgrade. I've now had my service suspended and I'm unable to ring 150 unless I pay a minimum of £103 even though my monthly plan is only £36.

How do I resolve this?

Thanks

Hi @RyanLee3

You'll need to speak to EE CS on 150 about billing.

Upgrade fees are normally relating to your tariff and no charges for exiting your current contract to another. Handsets costs are still normally chargeable.

Thanks
