i currently have a samsung s21 ultra on a contract with EE that has ended few months ago, i was thinking of upgrading to a s23 ultra and trading in my s21 ultra. am i better of buying the s23 ultra from samsung where i get £410 discount for trading in or just upgrade in EE where i get around £336 discount for trading in?

If you would like to discuss your options for upgrading with a trade in offer, please call us on 150.

If you decide to purchase the device elsewhere, you can look at changing to a SIM Only plan when your are eligible to upgrade 🙂

As long as the phone is unlocked or an EE phone this will work for you @Beeyw

sorry last question, what is the process on this sim only thing? cause my contract on my s21 ended 2 months ago and I see on my EE app now that it is now a essential SIM contract and not sure what that means. Will I be able to just take the SIM card that I have now on my s21 and then put it in the new s23 and use it without any problems? And if I wanted to upgrade to SIM only, would that upgrade automatically be applied to the SIM card that I have now or will I get a new SIM card sent out to me? thanks

You would keep the same number and SIM card, the plan would change when you upgraded to the new SIM Only plan or if you are happy with the plan you have this will continue.

If you buy direct from Samsung, and add a mobile accessory like a case, you get 10% off the phone, and 30% off the case. Quite a good saving!

Not sure how long this offer will last, may end once officially released as they are still taking pre-orders and shipping early.
