Hello,

I have requested a PAC code from EE and received a text saying that I could be charged £250 to end my contract, but I only have a sim contract. Is this correct ?

Thanks,

Alison.

it's not the "being on a SIM-only plan" that matters for the purposes of these charges, it's when your minimum term expires and therefore whether you're within a contract term.

When did you take out this SIM-only plan and was it a 30-day,. 12month or 24month minimum-term?

It was a 24 month term but the reception is awful, I get daily messages saying that they are working on the problem to get it sorted out.

@emgratton if your still within your 14 day cooling of period then you need to call customer services to inform them you don’t want the contact. You only get a cooling of period with store/online sales. If you got this from a store you can still have the contact terminated because of poor reception. The way you have done this is what is causing this charge as you are trying to terminate the contract by moving your number away from EE.
