Hi if I upgrade to a Sim only then after a few months want to go upgrade to a new phone with EE do I have to pay out my sim only contract - thanks

@Laura064 If you take out a 12 month sim only you’ll be able to upgrade to a full device contract without paying off the sim only but only after you’ve had it 6 months. And it’s 12 months on a 24 month sim only.

The full upgrade eligibility rules are set out on page 5 of the SIM Only price guide - upgrading to SIM-only suggests you are on a device-plan currently, and in those cases you can convert back from SIM-only to a phone-plan anytime.

The 6-month rule only applies to new customers who initially connect to EE with a SIM-only.
