Welcome to the community,

You can keep the phone number by requesting a PAC code to transfer it to another network, or if you want to remain with EE and change to a pay as you go, then ring them and get it changed, no need for PAC code, but remember, if you have not come to the end of your minimum term, then you will have to pay the rest of your contract.
