topic No Contract - No Leaving Fee ? in Contracts & Billing

Hi all

So, not sure about this but thought I would check as you guys or EE staff may be able to help.

I had two mobiles provided via third party to my business which unfortunately closed. I had the devices placed into my own name.

However, Times are hard as we all know and almost £100pm for a service I don't really use isn't working out. I have called EE customer service and there is around £500 to pay to leave. Fair enough.

I wanted a copy of the contract and was told I can only get this in store. But the store have told me there is no contract to give as it would be between the third party and my old business.

Does this mean that I have no contract with EE and so can leave with no penalty?

Has anyone had this issue before?

Thanks
