My contract is due for renewal. Can I just keep my current phone and have a sim only? I want to reduce costs monthly

If you just want to switch it to PAYG, just call CS giving 30 days notice to cancel your contract & ask for it to be moved to PAYG.

If you have a chat with our Mobile Care team, they'll be able to run through some SIM only options with you or change it to pay as you go, if you prefer to do that.

I moved to Vodaphone £8 per month.not £21 for the EE same and 12 month contract.why stay and get ripped off by EE...that's the solution
