If i add a family member can they pay there own bill

I would like to add a family member and get an additional contract for them, but they want to be able to pay there own bill, but as they will get a discount for an extra family member do I need to pay the bill each month.

All contracts under the same MyEE a/c can only be paid on 1 combined bill.

If they want to pay their own bill they would need to have a separate MyEE a/c. Consequently they could not be an additional line on your a/c.

You can make manual one-off payments with any pay-monthly account, and if those payments are made prior to the monthly billing date then the bill - and therefore any regular direct debit - will take that into account.

But the direct debit itself is managed at account-level and is not specific to each individual line on the account.

Or you can just settle up between you or preferably get him to set up a SO on you for their regular monthly payment.
