High Cancellation Charges - EE Store

I have contacted EE to cancel my ridiculous contract but the charges are so high, to leave.

Absolutely stitched up when visiting the EE store. So sad a company whom you have been loyal to have no qualms about doing so!

The operater i spoke to even said he understood why I wanted to leave. They just stitch you up in the shop, to very expensive contracts...must be laughing at my expense!

Will be out of it and will leave EE after many years staying with them. They clearly do not care about loyalty...well they clearly just, dont care!!!

How exactly were you "absolutely stitched up" at an EE shop?

What did they say or do to you, that you couldn't say "no thankyou" and leave?

@Robinsmum21 , did you cancel your contract in the middle of the minimum term or the end of the term? If you have wanted to cancel before the end of the contract, then you will have to pay for the rest of it, so not sure why you are writing that the cancellation charges are high, as you obviously have not reached the end of your contract, otherwise they would be nothing extra to pay, and you have to give 30 days notice anyway to leave.
