ID requirements regarding phone contracts

Hi All,

Im looking to get a phone contract out and would like to go through EE (this would be my first). However I do not currently own a passport or driving license due to disabilities making that difficult. I have got a bank account and other information that could prove I am who I say am though.

My question is, do I need photographic identification to be able to apply and be accepted for a phone contract? If it changes the answer, I would be requesting the phone to be delivered to me as I cant get to store. (I know that you need photo ID to pick it up in store).

Welcome to the community,

If you are ordering online or via phone call, there is no need for a passport or driving licence, but they will do a credit check when getting a phone contract and will send it to you at your home address if approved.

Please make sure that you have the DPD app, as you will receive notification the day before delivery and another one on the day of delivery with a PIN number, which you show the driver before receiving your device.
