topic looking at leaving EE in Contracts & Billing

I've just tried calling through and sorting this over the phone. My actual plan has finished. I'm looking at starting a new plan to save some money. I need the same sort of deal with what i get in the package but for the next 5 months need to carry on paying for the device I still currently have.

My colleague has the same sort of deal as me and is paying £10 less than me a month and she has a iPhone 17 pro. another one of colleagues has the same deal as her with sky and she has a watch as well for the same cost I'm paying for my monthly charge.

ive been with EE longer than one of these collegues has been alive so i find this quite insulting that something cant be done to keep a customer i know that in my line of work i would do anything to ensure that a customer doesnt leave. i had nothing from the operative all that kept getting told was that i will need to wait. if i wait i will move companies.

Look forward to your response

@jambo151 Price has changed overtime so you’re comparing your price from 2 years ago to what’s currently available with someone who’s got an iPhone 17 pro, Is the sky contract a 3 year contract? This would be cheaper each month as the cost is over 36 months not 24 as per your airtime contract.

If you want to upgrade to a sim only contract you can and you need to call customer support to do this. You can change networks and continue paying for the device for the remaining flex term of the device contract.
