You may leave, or change to a SIM-only plan, once your minimum-term is expired.

Might be worth finding out why your bills are what they are though. Is it made up by having an expensive phone? Or having inclusive extras in your plan that you may not need?

@shannei You agreed to pay the contract fee for the duration of the contract. To terminate before the minimum term is up will mean paying off the remaining term of the contract that you agreed to honour. You do get a 4% discount because of early termination so it is slightly cheaper to terminate early then see out the full duration of the contract.

If you are having trouble with the monthly payment it might be worth calling customer support and explaining your issue so some sort of arrangement can be made, as an example they might half the monthly fee but increase the remaining term and you might also have less data per month. This isn’t to say that will happen it’s just a guess. But it’s worth calling customer support.
