Switching from upgrade Anytime to EE one

I can up grade my phone from upgrade anytime to EE one if I do this online I need to send my old phone before I receive my new phone which would then leave without any form of communication with my elderly mum. Can I do this in store so I’ll have a phone to use straight away without having to wait?

When you anytime upgrade your phone you don't have to send the old phone back first.

Thanks for coming to the community.

You definitely don't need to send the phone back before the new one arrives as @garetc has said.

The returns bag should arrive in the week after your new phone arrives so you can make sure the new one is up and running before you send the old one back.

If you receive the returns bag before that, don't worry, we don't expect it back until you have the new one.
