Just received my first bill from EE. What is the charge for £123.29 and why does is contain the word 'default?!

@Teleman85 You need to speak with customer support about that. Have you paid this bill already? Because you got this on the 23rd of January ( 6 days ago so not just received) you need to call to inquire about that and if you don’t pay on time or sort it now you could end up with late charges next month. You need to call, customer support closes at 9pm

The A/C Charge of £123.29 is just bookkeeping. You don't pay it now. It represents the value of the device you ordered which you are going pay off over its term.

It doesn't mean you have defaulted on anything. It's just the default policy to present it here.

Thank you. I figured it was something like that but just checking as it's not exactly clear. Why that particular figure when the cost of the device is actually much more?
