Hello,

I’m hoping someone from EE can help or advise.

I keep receiving text messages from CRS stating that I have an overdue balance of £15.33 owed to EE and that I need to pay it.

However, when I log into my EE account, everything shows as fully paid, with no outstanding balance and all bills marked as settled. As far as I’m aware, my account is completely up to date.

I’ve tried contacting EE by phone and live chat, but neither is working for me at the moment, which is why I’m posting here.

Could someone please advise:

Whether this £15.33 balance is valid

If a final bill or legacy balance may have been sent to CRS in error

How I can get written confirmation from EE that my account is fully paid, so CRS can stop contacting me

I’m happy to provide account details privately if an EE representative needs them.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Good afternoon @HoriAliyan18.

Welcome to the Community!

As @XRaySpeX has mentioned, to check everything is as it should be at our end it's best to reach out to our customer care team so they can take a look over your account.

I'd also recommend checking with CRS directly and seeing if they have any references or account details for the apparent debt.

That should hopefully give us an idea if it's your main account or an older account that this is linked to.

We can't rule out the possibility that these are fraudulent texts though, so I'd recommend checking out the contact details on their official site, rather than any in-text links.
