Trying to upgrade and trade in old phone

Hi, I am trying to upgrade my phone as my contract has finished but the website only seems to allow me to trade in my old phone if i choose a more expensive package.

For example i have a Pixel 7a and i would be happy with a Pixel 9 but the option to trade isnt there but if i select Pixel 10 Pro i can trade in my old phone.

So i wondered if anyone knew why this is?

Welcome to the EE Community

Is this the case when trying in app as well? Sometimes we will run enhanced trade in offers on certain devices but you should still be able to trade in an eligible device when upgrading.

I would recommend reaching out to our upgrades team and they should be able to confirm the deals available on the Pixel 9 if trading in your Pixel 7a.
