£14.50 monthly unlimited data sims reduced from £34.50

I have 3 sims on the above deal and was told twice by EE staff that I need to wait 3 months to add a 4th. After 3 months I tried adding a 4th and it was not possible. EE staff then told me that it's between 3 and 6 months but can't supply a date. Has anyone else had this issue?

@TheCod You have a credit limit and in order to have a higher limit you need to show that you’ll pay on time each month.

Thanks but I pay by DD so all has been paid immediately. I found out that EE have increased the deal to £16/m or £15/m with an 24m contract but the first person I spoke to at EE didn't offer those. I've now signed up for the £15 deal so relatively happy. Thank you for your response anyway.
