I rang up and was told it would be a case of paying the rest of my contract in a lump sum and taking out a new 2 year contract. So I won’t be doing that.

I’m on the all rounder for iPhone with a discount until September 26, and I took it out so I could add my Apple Watch. At the time I took Apple Music out, but since then I’ve ended up paying for apple one direct from apple for the whole family anyway, so the options available for the included Apple Music, Apple TV and Apple One are completely pointless.

Im thinking about changing it over to the general all rounder so I can just have google AI included as I use some google stuff anyway, but if i do that will I lose my F&F discount? And will it be a faff having to reset my Apple Watch up for the data?

Hi @sim667

Thanks for coming back to the community.

If you are just changing the plan, the discount would remain in place as long as the plan is compatible. If it is just a similar All Rounder Plan you shouldn't need to worry about that.

In terms of the watch plan, if you have one already, mention it when you call up and they'll let you know exactly how it'll work. If it is a £7 plan, then that would just be discounted to give you the free watch data in the plan.

The billing guides are available until 8pm this evening and 8am to 9pm during the week.

I wouldn't expect the outcome to be buying out of your contract for a change of plan @sim667
I would suggest calling back, opening a complaint, and escalating this to a team leader if needed.

Or if you'd rather not call back, you're welcome to Fill out our complaints form, and a member of the team will get back to you directly within 7 days.
