Cancel my SIM but keep my phone

Hello,

I have just received my new phone with my new contract. Is it possible to cancel my EE sim but keep the phone and pay monthly for just the phone?

Didn't you do an upgrade? That would get you your new phone to use your existing SIM in. That's what upgrades are for.

@KathrynW The phone is part of the contract so if you cancel the sim contract you’ll be required to pay off the device to keep it.

No, I’m not asking to cancel my contract. Please could you give me a number where I can contact you to talk about my assisted SIM? I’m trying to get a new number sent through the post with a new SIM so that I can use it please and continue my contract

@Myangel1804 : Try calling EE CS on the Freephone no.(Opt 2) in my sig.

You would have to pay monthly for a 2nd SIM contract unless you are just asking to change your existing SIM no. & even then there might be a 1-off charge of £36.
