How can I get my VAT bills? I read on here they're only issued for Business costumers, but that's ridiculous.

The company I work for reimburses my bills and is VAT registered and needs the VAT bill to claim back.

Any advise please?

Welcome to the community.

If you need a VAT breakdown for business purposes, you would need to switch to a business account. To do this and discuss your options, please get in touch.

Thanks 🙂

Surely a VAT breakdown can be provided for any customer. The bill includes VAT, EE are VAT registered, so EE should be able to provide this. It shouldn't have anything to do with whether it's a personal or business tariff. There are thousands of people, who aren't businesses, that have some/all of their bills covered by a company they work for.

I think that in law a vat bill at the very least has to include the vat reg no of the supplier.

From Google AI, see the bottom:

It is a legal requirement that an invoice must show VAT and a VAT registration number if and only if your business is registered for VAT with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).

If you are VAT registered

If your business is VAT registered, you must issue a valid "VAT invoice" for most taxable supplies to other businesses, which must include:

Your business name, address, and VAT registration number.

The total amount of VAT charged, expressed in sterling.

The VAT rate charged per item and the net amount (excluding VAT).

A unique, sequential invoice number.

The date of issue and the time of supply (if different).

Your customer's name and address.

A clear description of the goods or services.

For retail supplies under £250, a simplified VAT invoice can be used, which requires less detail but still must include your name, address, and VAT registration number.
