Could still be a scam as number spoofing is rife at moment. But like you said best to ring them in morning and find out for sure so you can get it sorted.

Hiya. I have just received a message from 150 saying that I have an upcoming bill of over £900 from Flex Play. I immediately assumed it was spam however the number is genuine and there is no link to click to suggest a phishing scam. I am so confused as I have been a contract only SIM for years (well over 4). See the message sent to me below. Will obviously ring EE tomorrow to question this but for now any ideas?

Hi YASASWINI (this is not my name!)

Your next Flex Pay payment of £912.97 is due on 15/07/2025. If you'd like to set up a Direct Debit to make paying it easier, please call us on 150. This payment is only for your Flex Play agreement, and not your plan services. Thanks.

You are right to be vigilant to Avoid Scams as there are a lot of phishing emails and texts being sent.

I would definitely recommend you Contact Us to get some clarity.
