    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there, my contract ended in 2023, and since have been using a SIM only deal that cost £13 and has been on direct debit. I have just upgraded to another SIM only deal which costs £24 and is the unlimited all rounder . Will I get a new SIM card? Or do I just keep the same SIM card and the uncapped data speed begins straight away? Or does it take a few days..&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Welcome to the community.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Its great to hear you have resigned up to a new Sim only contract. Usually the new plan would just start on your existing sim card unless at the point of renewal you request a replacement sim card.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you have access to your EE account online or via the app you will be able to check if the new plan is now active.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
