Hi there

my contract with EE has ended (since early April) so I decided to transfer my number to a different provider using the PAC.

My only worry is what happens to my "relationship" with EE. will it be canceled automatically since the number is no longer on their records or do I have to give them a ring as well? The only thing I did was to cancel DD via my bank's app. Am I ok?

@nasose , no worries, as when you port your number to a different provider, your account will be closed, but you should not have cancelled your direct debit, as EE will need to issue you with a final bill and take a final payment.

ok @Schockwave got it (about DD). What can/will happen now? will they send me an email asking me to -somehow- re-instate DD for one last payment or am I to expect some kind of one-time secure payment link in order for me to pay?

Once you receive your final bill, you'll be able to pay it via telephone call or using our online payment service through your online account. (you'll still have access to this up to 6 months after leaving).

If your final bill is a credit, you'll usually receive this as a cheque if your DD is already cancelled.
