&lt;P&gt;Whilst numbers aren't usually suspended immediately after you miss a payment, the time it takes for this to kick in can depend on how you've managed your bills and payments in the past.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;They'll be able to look into the option of a payment promise though, which will secure the line remaining active until at least an agreed payment date.&lt;/P&gt;
