Samung Flip Phone to iPhone

Hi, I upgraded from Samsung flip phone to iPhone 18 a few weeks back. I managed to transfer contacts, photos etc. Yet I do not know what I am missing, as I am unable to send/receive message on the iPhone. I am at a loss of what to do. I am still using my flip phone, which now will not allow me to send texts or make calls, or to call EE on 150. I am not great with technology. The iPhone came with a new SIM, do I need to do anything with that so that I can start using the iPhone. I do not know what to do. Thank you

The new SIM in the iPhone will have a new no. You need to put the old sim in the iPhone.
