Hey. A year ago i went to EE and got an apple watch without any mobile phone contract. Ive signed the contract and pay bit kore than usual as you’d pay with a phone and apple watch combo. It’s £33 pm.
I did say that i dont wanna pair it with my mobile number cus its not EE and they said in still able to buy it with monthly payment. With some upfront cost. Everything was fine but now a year later ive receid a mail saying that to my watch plan theres no primary phone number signed and they will cancel line? Does this means they cancel my contract? I need to pay off the watch all together? Can someone help me please

Hi @Adrianaa,

Welcome to the EE Community

It sounds like you had signed up to a family member watch plan, where the watch has its own number and plan to use. However these plans still require having an EE mobile plan on the same account to activate it. So if you don't currently have an EE mobile plan or never had one, you wont have been able to activate the plan and actually use it.

We regularly run checks for effected watch lines and once identified a letter will be sent to notify you that the line will be ceased within 30 days. The letter you recieved should contain all the details about how the billing will work, but if you have any questions please contact us and one of our team will confirm for you how it will work.

Have you fully read the letter that came, as it should lay out exactly what to expect when it comes to the plan/billing for the remainder of the contract.

We have no account access via this Community so if you are unsure of the information contained in the letter, giving us a quick call using the contact details in my last post will connect you to one of our guides who will be able to clarify the situation for you.
