iPhone 18 pro max pre order stating delayed

Hi, I pre ordered an iPhone 18 pro max on Sunday and the order got cancelled, so I re ordered again on the 16th sept annoyingly I’ll have to wait longer now. My tracking says usually dispatched in 12 days but I have just had an email to say my order has been delayed. Does this mean that my tracking will change to longer than 12 days or is this just because I won’t get it today? Thanks

@Msmores If you’ve had confirmation after, then it’ll be longer than the 12 days.

I have ordered silver 256GB, my online order still says expected dispatch in 12 days but I got the email today saying it has been delayed

I bought the phone on its own without a sim so I can’t speak to anyone who can update me on my order

The iphone 18 pro max 512gb in black is showing in stock online, I was first given 18th September as the delivery date now just saying delay. Any update as I'm unable to speak to anyone who can help. Thanks

Welcome to the EE Community

At the time of your order the stock guidance was to expect dispatch within 21 days of order for the iPhone Pro Max 512GB in Burgundy. So it is still within the expected timescales at the moment.

If you are worried about your order due to not being able to track it online, I would recommend giving us a quick call so our team can check everything is ok with your order.

Please can I ask why the silver 256gb iPhone 18 pro max shows as in stock and available for delivery online but my pre order hasn’t been fulfilled yet? It’s a little confusing as all other colours in the size show as available to order but not silver? So if I ordered today I’d get it quicker than waiting for my pre order?

Hi @Msmores,

From what I can see the iPhone 18 Pro Max 256Gb Silver shows as available to order expect dispatch within 7 days on our website, which is the current guidance for new orders. The orders do work on a queue system, the oldest back order we have currently is from 14th Sep. Your order will be fulfilled before any new orders.

Hi @Msmores

Devices are dispatched daily, so they warehouse will be working through the orders on a first come first saved basis. Your device will be in the queue being based on ordering the 16th September.

We only have stock guidance details, we don't have any information where along the queue your order currently is.

If you haven't done so already I would recommend downloading the DPD app, so that soon as this device is ready to be shipped you will be notified with the tracking details.
