Hi,

Having an issue with not recieving missed call alerts when my phone has no service. While in a shop with no service today I missed multiple calls from family and still hours later don’t have any notification anyone called me. I only know because eventually when back in service I got a call. I’ve had a look through some posts and online but can’t see to get anywhere.

It’s an iPhone 14 Pro Max, I’ve got visual voicemail set up and have no issues with receiving voicemails when I miss a call only when I’m out of range does it become an issue. I’ve never had missed call text notifications for as long as I remember and it’s never been a real problem until today.

I’ve checked what I can see in my settings and can’t see anything that would indicate I have anything switched off I shouldn’t have

thanks

Hi @CharleyWelch,

First I would check if it is the missed call alert causing the issue.

Easiest way to do this is when you have another phone available so you can call your handset.

On your iPhone switch ‘Airplane Mode’ on

Call your iPhone from the other phone and as soon as you hear your voicemail greeting “Welcome to the EE Voicemail…” or your personal greeting, end the call. Don’t let it get to the beep.

Switch ‘Airplane Mode’ off

Leave it about 10 minutes and you should receive a text message starting with “Missed Call: this person…”

Note down the time you made the call.

When you called your handset if the greeting did not start to play that may indicate an issue with your diverts when out of signal or network mailbox.

If the greeting did play and no missed call text received it may be a mailbox setting or the network side.

Provide those details to the Tech experts Rach_H mentioned above and they will be able to get this fixed.
