Hello EE Community,

Please advise: when trading in an Apple iPhone (with EE), should I: a) leave the phone on (Encased) and in standby mode in the return pack, b) remain signed in to Apple Account on the phone (so it can be traced) and importantly c) should I return to EE in the original manufacturers packaging - with the original phone case?

Cheers

@pecky4life you need to remove the device from your Apple account as once they receive it they can’t do anything with it. You also need to have it switched off. factory reset it as well.
You just need to return the phone. but the more packaging you can put round the phone the safer it will be from accidental damage whilst in transit.

retain all proof of postage, even if you decide to pay for insurance yourself.
