Hi all,

recently upgraded my phone through an early upgrade offer with the fee waived by EE and got the 17 pro max. Thinking now I’m not super happy with it and would like to get the base 17 instead, I’m pretty sure I’m still within my cooling off period because I ordered over the phone and I’m aware I’d have to cancel this contract and take out a new one (I think) but because it was a waived fee early upgrade, would I have to now pay to get another plan (like an early upgrade fee) or would I have a sort of fresh slate because it’s a new 24 month contract (also isn’t flex play I believe)

Hi @Amy1691

Thanks for coming to the community.

If you ordered the iPhone 17 Pro Max online or over the phone with us, you can return it within 14 days of receiving it.

You can see how to request this through our online returns form.

Once the phone is back with us, your contract would be returned to how it was before the upgrade, so back to your old contract.

If you then have the same early upgrade offer, you'd be able to upgrade again. We have no way of seeing if the offer will still be available until after the phone is returned.
