Iphone 17 Pro Max screen

I’m having an issue with a brand new Iphone 17 pro max. Literally out of the box a few days ago… the screen i can only describe as ‘sticky’ when gliding the finger or thumb more noticeably up down but generally any direction.

Has anyone else had this issue or similar? It is particularly noticeable when playing games and swiping left right the glide is just not the same as previous iphones. Have tried cleaning with micro fibre cloth etc (which you should not have to) but still the issue persists.

Thanks for the message, yes I would like to contact someone about this. It must be a faulty device then as I have been patient but this screen but it is just not as responsive as older iPhones
