Hi @southofnorth.

Thanks for coming to the community.

An Apple Watch does have its own dedicated number on your account for billing, but it shares your iPhone’s phone number for calls and texts via a paired plan. Because of this setup, your iPhone will also show an extra number in Settings under Mobile Service.

As long as your calls, texts, and data on the watch are working normally when away from your iPhone, everything is set up correctly.

I recently upgraded my Apple Watch eSIM contract and the phone number still appears in the list of phone numbers in the EE app. All correct so far,

However I noticed that a different phone number appears in Settings/Mobile Service/SIMs. I did speak to a guide and they said there was nothing to be concerned about. I’m not convinced though that this is correct. My Apple Watch works fine on cellular when I’m not connected to my iPhone so I’m not overly concerned. I’m just curious why I have 2 numbers. It looks like I can disable the line on my iPhone settings and Watch cellular still works.

Anyone got suggestions?
