I have just transferred phone from a 13 to a 17 via eSIM but my new phone 5g isn’t working?

Unfortunately I had the same problem when i transferred to the 17 pro max . Turns out it was a faulty phone. But in mean time try to toggle airplane mode off then on, that work for me short term

Can I just check is it all internet that isn't working or just 5G?

Have you used the phone in more than one area yet and had the same issue?
