Cellular Apple Watch - Plan options

Please can someone give details of any plan options to pair an Iphone to a cellular Apple watch that was not purchased from EE or supplied by EE on a pay monthly plan. The Iphone that it will be paired to is on a basic pay monthly SIM only contract.

I have spoken to EE direct and was told that you can only pair a watch to a phone that has been supplied by EE i.e via a pay monthly plan. Is this correct ?

Welcome to the community,

You need to use the Apple Watch app on the phone to pair your Apple Watch and it will then ask whether you want a cellular data and you say yes, as you would want data, I presume, you should find all the details how to set it up on your phone under the tips app on your phone.

@Nexus-six The watch contract will cost £7 per month and you’ll get 10Gb of data for the watch. Any calls or text via the watch will come from your Sim only allowance.

Do you know if I will I need to phone up EE to activate this service or can I do it through the watch app when I am pairing it with the Iphone.
