Issues with EE Sim in iPhone XR and imessage and facetime activation

Help I have a issue with my EE Sim (it works with google handsets no problem)

I had a issue where Apple blocked it due to SPAM but was unblocked and is not blocked by them at present.

Both facetime and imessage say activation unsuccessful under my sign-in and security setting it says unavailable for imessage and facetime

Is this a issue with my EE sim???????

Or am I doomed to use Google????????????

Please try the steps here on this Apple iMessage activation help page. Hopefully, it will help you get signed in by changing the settings, updating the software or logging in with an email address.
