What about it?

RCS has been supported for a while on EE, including on the latest non-beta iOS version.

You may be encountering one of the unique quirks of betas which are not approved for public release.

I was just wondering when it would start working again for me as I am on the developer beta of iOS 26 beta 3

@Rob81x , as a beta tester, not developer, we are currently on beta 18.6, not sure how you could be on IOS 26 beta 3 as a developer, that is way ahead in my opinion.

@Schockwave OS 26 is the newest version of iOS, Apple changed it all up to coincide with the year so instead of OS 19 it’s now 26. The current beta of iOS 18 is 18.6. Apple released beta 26 just after WWDC.

@Rob81x Using a beta that requires a network function can have issues are the beta doesn’t yet have to be fully supported by a network for certain features to work.

@Chris_B , thank you for that, had not watched the WWDC, was on holiday as well, so not bothered about it, but have now installed it, and working fine, so far, have done my IPhone, just downloading it to IPad and IWatch.

@Chris_B , have now got the phone app on the IPad, which I did not have before, so can make calls that way too, if I so wish.

@Schockwave I’m sticking clear of 26 for now until Apple gets closer to release. Early betas are not optimise for battery so they can drain. This happened to me awhile ago when I had my iPhone X and I had to have a new battery within a year of having that phone. That’s right it went below 80% battery health within a year because of using betas.

@Chris_B , we shall see if it uses a lot of battery, but so far so good.

@Rob81x , RCS is showing in messages, with IOS 26 Beta 3, so not sure as I can see it in messages when clicking on someone, who does not have Apple.
